The Possehl Group´s activities comprise the following three business segments: According to history, the Trading segment has since 1847 been one of the very first businesses of today´s Possehl Group - approximately half a century later the Production segment accrued and, only few years later, the Services segment. Throughout the last years constantly 2/3 of Possehl Group´s net sales derived from the Trading segment, nearly 1/3 has been contributed by the Production segment and 1 % has been generated by the Services segment. In the operational daily business of Possehl Group´s companies prevalently elements of services can be found in the offerings of Production and Trading companies. This has become an increasingly important factor throughout the whole Possehl Group and becomes obvious especially in the Special Purpose Construction and International Trading divisions. The Possehl enterprises thereby react o the growing markets´ and customers´ demands for flexible and all-embracing service.
